The Renovation of White Balcony's Home!

Below are shots of the transformation of the retail space in Riverwalk, Edwards from Funksturz Clothing Store to White Balcony. Just click on the thumbnails for larger versions of each image.

The space is long and skinny but fairly large - 1,063 square feet total (about 860 floor space and 140 store room and bathroom)

Front end of the space...
This is the front of the store with two windows overlooking the internal street. This is before any restoration at all. The floor is painted cement.

During the process with Backman studiously applying primer... two coats to get over some of the murals.

The front door is on the left.

Back end of the space...
This is a shot looking back from the front of the store at the old changing rooms which were later removed.

Close up of the two changing rooms.

And now they're gone.. thanks to the dedication of Chris Backman and the electrical prowess of Eric Stein!

Store Room
The store room is awesome - it's about 120 sf and full of great shelving (about 8 feet high by 1.25 feet deep).

Here's the store room again from the other angle - a left view as you walk in the door.

The infamous orange bathroom
This is the bathroom (about 55 sf). It's behind the store room - through the door you can see in the above shot. Toilet, sink and more shelving. It's orange - but hey?

Looking through the door from the toilet back into the little store room. Don't miss the exceptional mural that still graces this room...
